Welcome to our Typhoon2000 Satellite Fixes/Warnings section.
On this page, you will be able to depict the exact position of where the Current Tropical Cyclone you're viewing is located prior to the usual warnings. These fixes are taken from various Weather Satellites observing these storms which send data back to various weather agencies around the globe. Aside from fixes, it also includes warnings.
Before locating the exact fix of an existing Tropical Cyclone, you need the following code format from selected Weather Agencies which monitors Pacific & Atlantic Storms that you must encode into the entry box below:
- GTW = Joint Typhoon Warning Center (JTWC)
- GWC = US Air Force's Global Weather Central (Offut AFB, Nebraska)
- JTD = Japan Meteorological Agency (JMA)
- PMM = Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical, & Astronomical Admin. (PAGASA)
- NHC = National Hurricane Center (NHC)
- GUM = National Weather Service, Tiyan, Guam
- HHH = Hong Kong Observatory (HKO)
NOTE: Retrieving data further back than 24 hours can take up to a minute to process and display. Please be patient.~All Satellite Fixes & Warnings are taken courtesy of Florida State University (FSU) Dept. of Meteorology Data Server.~
