Tropical Storm CHEDENG (LINFA) has intensified further and is now packing sustained winds of 85 kph as it drifted towards the ESE...endangers Central and Northern Luzon. Forecast to move ENE slowly towards Pangasinan.

Tropical Storm CHEDENG will continue to enhance the Southwest Monsoon and bring moderate to heavy rains over the Western sections of Luzon and Visayas including Metro Manila.

Meanwhile, JTWC is forecasting LINFA/CHEDENG to reach Typhoon intensity within 24 hours then move Eastward across Central Luzon via Lingayen Gulf, Pangasinan.
